Running freek – making running seem effortless

Introducing Run-Rite TM
Designed by runners for runners

The Idea
So there I was struggling to run any great distance because my shoulders got achy, my neck was getting stiff, basically I wasn’t relaxing my upper body.
I thought there must be a way of taking the weight of my arms off my shoulders, maybe a harness but nothing restrictive?
After some trial and error I came up with ‘run-rite’ trainer and found not only did it help with carrying some of my arm weight, it also trained my arms to swing in the correct movement and helped correct my upper body posture. Don’t just take my word for it, try it today.

How it works
Upper body posture
It so simple, by using the shoulder straps worn like a backpack, the tensioning straps ensure that your shoulders stay back and provide you with a good upright posture ideal for good running technique. See diagram below.
Arm swing
All seasoned runners know how important arm swing effects upper body balance and optimum candence (stride length) The ‘run-rite’ sling controls and your arm swing movement in precisely the right way, elbows bent at 90 degrees, hands just crossing over your breast bone.
Each arm ‘band’ is made from super strength hook & loop (Velcro) elasticated fabric and can altered in length to suit your preferred position.
Energy efficiency
Not only do the arm bands provide correct movement, because of their elasticity, they create potential energy on each arm down swing which then produces an ‘weightlessness’ upswing as the elastic contracts.

Who is the ‘run-rite’ trainer designed for ?
Everyone! For the beginner running can be daunting, trying to increase your distance and reducing your times. With ‘run-rite’ TM your movement is controlled and your arms are supported giving you EXTRA help when you need it most.
If you have already started out on your running journey, ‘run-rite’ TM can still enhance your posture and control your arm movement just when you need it most.
For the experienced runner, any energy saved is converted into time saved. With arm control and support, your upper body can afford to reserve energy and concentrate on lower body drive!
Lastly, the trainer can be an effective support for those who have arm, shoulder or neck problems. By taking the weight off those areas, you are able to relax your movement and provide a more comfortable run.
Running-RiteTM
Helping you to swing your arms the right way to maximise your running efficiency.

The Right Way to Swing your Arms
- Hands stay close to the body.
- Elbows out as much as necessary.
- Hands should move on a basically diagonal pathway, from your breastbone to your sides;

Am I getting this right ?
- You May feel like your hands are tracing the line of one of your lower ribs
- You may also find, if your core action is excellent, that your hands are actually moving in ovals or circles rather than just diagonally.
“ The ‘sling’ works well in improving your running posture, so important to efficiency and conserving energy. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending it to not only the seasoned runner, but also to beginners who are looking for method training. ”
Sports Physio
“ Having run 2hr 30m marathons, I know well aware of upper body movement and how important posture and arm movement is. Not only can bad movement waste energy which can be critical, it’s also bad for your improvement and training. The ‘sling’ provides arm guidance and upper body control, whilst the unique arm loops provide a kind of weightlessness, really intriguing!! ”
